European Blackjack is another version of the traditional blackjack game with 8 decks of 52 cards being used in the game.

Since the 1700s, blackjack has had its place as a fun game of chance. This makes it one of the oldest games of its kind and one that continues to grow in popularity and spawn other games like it.

The object, just like any game of Blackjack, is to achieve a total of 21.

A blackjack is achieved when an Ace and a card worth 10 points are together; otherwise the point total closest to 21 without going over will suffice.

European Blackjack Special Rules

• Player will be dealt two cards face down. This is a no peeking game.
• The dealer stands on all hands totaling 17.
• Splitting a pair of Aces and drawing a 10-valued card equals 21 and not blackjack.
• Aces cannot be re-split.
• Each Ace only receives one additional card.
• After receiving the first two cards, Doubling Down is allowed if the cards total 9, 10, or 11. The bet value for Doubling Down is equal that of the initial bet.
• Doubling Down is not allowed after a split and is not allowed if a player has blackjack.
• After a Double Down or a split, insurance is not allowed.
• If the dealer does not have blackjack, then the player loses the insurance bet.
• Insurance pays 2:1.
