Atlantic City Blackjack
Atlantic City Blackjack doesn't stray too far from the basic rules of blackjack and is very similar to the Las Vegas version of the game. Played with 8 decks of standard playing cards, the goal is to hit 21 without going over and beat the dealer's score.
A blackjack is when the player is dealt an Ace along with a ten or any face card. If a blackjack isn't initially dealt, players and dealer can get additional cards by requesting a Hit.
These additional cards provided by the dealer are added to the initial score. If the sum of the hand goes over 21 then it is a Bust and the player or dealer is automatically out of that game. Atlantic City Blackjack features high betting limits, so while the game is basic, there is plenty of action to the game.
- Dealer must stand on soft 17
- Ties, even with blackjack, are a push
- Unlimited double downs
- Double down can occur after splitting cards
- Splitting is only allowed once
- Split Aces get one card only, no additional hits
- No surrender
- The 8-deck virtual shoe is reshuffled after each game
